Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day business operations of the Company
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide support and assistance to the General Manager on matters pertaining to the development and management of business in terms of achieving growth targets and profitability.
• Guide and assist underwriting teams in Headquarters and branches on matters of risk evaluation, technical guidance on claims, loss assessment, acceptance and ratings of various types of risks
• Ensuring regulatory compliance and liaise with TIRA & commissioner of insurance on operations and placement of risks abroad wherever necessary
• Interact and liaise with other insurance companies and deciding on co sharing and acceptance of facultative placements offers
• Interacting with Jubilee Insurance Nairobi office on technical matters pertaining to Reinsurance treaties, special acceptance of risks beyond acceptance capacities.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• A Bachelor degree from a recognized University .
• Minimum 15 years of management experience in general insurance and should have - worked as profit centre head for minimum of 5 years in a Divisional or Regional manager level.
• ACII or equivalent insurance qualification from a recognised institute
• Business acumen, Marketing skills, Management and coaching skills
• The ideal candidate should exhibit high level of professionalism, negotiating skills, integrity and professional ethics.
REMUNERATION
