County Council of Nandi wishes to fill the following vacant position in its establishment.


Purchasing Officer III

Salary Scale 10. Kshs. 11,340 x Kshs. 321 – Ksh. 1294 x Kshs. 354 – Kshs. 15,069 x Kshs. 399 – Kshs. 16,665 p.a

Qualifications

• O Level C+ and or equivalent
• Diploma in purchasing and supplies from a recognized institution and equivalent
• Registered with the professional body Kenya Institute of Purchasing & Supplies
• Age 22 – 40 years

Experience

• 3 years experience in a busy institution

Responsibilities

• To ensure procurement of goods and services is done as per the Public Procurement and Disposal Act (2005) and Regulations (2006)
• Record keeping and custody of all procurement processes
• Advice the Council on matters relating to procurement
• Assist the Council on matters of planning on all procurement issues as required by the Act
• To ensure Disposal of stores is in accordance with the Act
• To ensure the reporting requirements are complied with
