RENOVATIONS ASSISTANT 2 POSITIONS
LOCATION: NYERI & NAIROBI
Pathfinder International is an international non-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting high-quality comprehensive reproductive health services in Kenya. We are seeking to recruit Renovations Assistants to support the APHIA II Nairobi and APHIA II Central projects respectively.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Renovations Coordinator the Renovations Assistants will be responsible for Measuring and Quantification of works; Preparation of BOQs and cost estimates. The position will also be actively involved in the Tender process;
reporting and supervision and monitoring of renovation works
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma from a recognized institution in Building/ Quantity Survey or its equivalent. A Degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 4 years relevant work experience
- Ability to read; interpret and generate BOQs from given plans or briefs
- Good knowledge and understanding of construction tender processes
- Proficiency in CAD software will be an added advantage
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision but participate as a team member in accomplishment of duties.
