VACANCY ANNOUCEMENT
POSITION: SUPPORT SERVICES OFFICER
The Ecumenical Pharmaceutical Network is a Non Government Christian organization whose mission is to support churches and church health systems provide and promote just and compassionate quality pharmaceutical services. The organization which is based in Nairobi, Kenya wishes to recruit a suitable candidate for the post of support services officer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain all office records, correspondence, files, financial information, contracts, etc. in a manner that is up-to-date, complete and readily accessible including managing the office filing structures
· Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and other EPN staff including preparation of minutes for all internal meetings.
· Provide logistical support to the organization which includes coordinating local, national, regional or international meetings as required, transport and vehicle management,
· Take charge of procurement for EPN which includes investigating and preparing procurement information from local agents; maintaining direct contact with suppliers/vendors and agents concerning all office operational needs.
· Manage the HR Administration matters for EPN including leave administration, employee records maintenance and salary administration.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
o Bachelor’s degree in business administration, secretarial studies, office management or equivalent.
o At least 3 years demonstrable experience handling procurement, logistics and secretarial services in a busy organization.
o Excellent organizational, problem solving and coordination ability
o Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Microsoft Project is a plus.
o Working language for the job is English but knowledge of French will be an advantage.
o Clean driving license.
