Revenue Department

Revenue Manager
The Revenue Manager is responsible for maximising all revenues for the Hotel, including but not limited to
  • Room and Banquet/Catering Revenues through budgeting and forecasting;
  • Leading cross functional decision making of all revenue generating departments including Sales and Marketing, Rooms, Catering and Food and Beverage;
  • The management of all aspects of competitor intelligence; pricing; management of room inventory, and/or the yield hurdle points; distribution channels, market segment mix and acceptance/denial of major group bookings;
  • Understanding the composition of hotel profitability and evaluate business in setting rates and negotiation;
  • Monitoring competitor pricing for all revenue generating departments and understanding the dynamic of the local market and recommend appropriate actions for the Hotels pricing and market mix strategy;
  • The creation and implementation of programs to achieve greater profitability through increasing average rate, overall occupancy and increased business volume during off-peak periods; Internal communication effectiveness;
  • Annual Budgets and cost control initiatives
Food & Beverage Department

Executive Sous Chef
The Executive Sous Chef assumes the duties and responsibilities of the Executive Chef in his absence;
  • Assist the chef in the management of the day to day operation of the Food Production and Stewarding sections;
  • Control and analyze, on an on-going basis, the level of scales, costs, issuing of food, quality and presentation of food and beverage products, condition and cleanliness of facilities and equipment and guest satisfaction;
  • Assist in developing and maintaining up-dated operations manuals for all Food Production and Stewarding sections;
  • Assist in developing popular menus offering guests value for money in accordance with IHG guidelines;
  • Assist in planning and organizing successful Food Beverage activities;
  • Assist in making recipes and maintaining up-dated ad accurate costing of all dishes prepared and sold in the food and beverage operation;
  • Assist in determining the minimum and maximum stocks of all food, material and equipment; assist in setting standards of all food and equipment purchases in accordance with IHG guidelines;
  • Participate in the preparation of the hotel’s revenue plan and marketing programs
