Position : Security Officer (Full time)
Duty Station: Juba, sometimes travel to Project Sites in CES
Immediate Supervisor: Head of Office
Deadline for Application Submission: by 11th May 2010
Duties and Responsibility:
- Obtain sufficient information to secure the staff and asset safety on daily basis,
- Provide instruction to the staffs to avoid the risk in the field, including vehicle accidents, mine threat, encounter with the militia or armed group, tribal conflict, etc
- Coordinate with relevant agencies
- Attend the relevant meetings and report appropriately
- Update the security communication list
- Provide better solution in maintaining the office security regardless of day and night
- Coordinate with the police and security company
- Give training to the security guards and other staffs
- Provide back-up plan for any failure situation regarding office security
- Maintain and control the office facilities and JEN properties
- Maintain the vehicles and control their movement.
- Attend accidents and theft cases
- Check and update communication tools
- Check up the vehicles
- Prepare Emergency pack for evacuation
- Drive JEN's vehicle when requested by the Head of Office
- Give instruction to the drivers for safety
- Organize workshop about security to the staffs
- Provide security factor inputs to the project implementation plan
- Perform any other tasks instructed by supervisors
Qualification:
- At least High School Completion Diploma
- At least 10-year working experience / 3 year in security management field
- Skills for using the various communication tools
- Planning skill
- Analytical skills on politics
- Human resource network to obtain information
- Fluent in English / Ability of Arabic (spoken, written)
- Adaptability to Hard Working Environment
- Mental toughness to keep calm for any emergency situation
