1. The Government of Kenya has received a grant from the Global Fund to fight against AIDS, Tuberculosis and
Malaria which it intends to use part of the proceeds to fund payments under the contract(s) for the supply and delivery
of test kits for HIV/AIDS.

2. The Procurement and Supply Chain Management Consortium (PSCMC), on behalf of the Government of Kenya,
Ministry of Public Health & Sanitation, herewith invites sealed tender(s) for:
Supply and Delivery of Rapid HPR2 Diagnostic Test kits
3. This Tender will be conducted through the Open National Tender (ONT) procedures specified in the Government of
Kenya (GOK), The Public Procurement and Disposals Act, 2005 and the Global Fund’s Policies on Procurement and
Supply Management, November 2006.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from PSCM Consortium and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below, Mondays to Fridays between 8.00 to 16.00 hours.
5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a
written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 65 US Dollars or 5,000 Kenya
Shillings. The method of payment will be cashier’s check or direct deposit to the specified account no 102683-
021 for USD or 102683-040 for KES to Citibank N.A, Upperhill Road, Nairobi, Kenya, Swift: CITIKENA. The
bidding document will be sent by airmail for overseas delivery and surface mail or courier for local delivery, or can be
collected by the interested bidder at the address below.
6. Tenders must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:00 AM on 27/05/2010 and must be accompanied
by a tender security of not less than 2% percent of the tender price in a freely convertible currency. Late tenders will
be rejected. Bulky tenders can be handed over to the PSCM Consortium office, KEMSA, GATE A for registration and
safe keeping till the tender opening date. Tenders will be opened after 10:00 AM 27/05/2010 in the presence of the
Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
