1. Internal Audit Manager
Responsibilities
- Develop a flexible annual audit plan;
- Evaluate changing services, processes and operations;
- Issues periodic reports to the audit committee and management;
- Monitor emerging trends and successful practices in internal auditing;
- Assist in investigation of suspected fraudulent activities;
- Evaluate the scope for external auditors to provide optimal audit coverage.
- Must have a BCom or related business degree, CPA (K ) and Masters degree in a relevant field;
- 8 years experience in Auditing, 4 of which must be in a senior position;
- CISA or CIS qualification us hands on experience in CAATs especially ACL;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Good analytical and reporting skills;
- Hands on skills in MS Office packages, with knowledge of relevant financial packages;
- High integrity and honesty.
Responsibilities
- To co-ordinate the entire university’s examination process through;
- Preparing the examination timetables
- Overseeing the preparation of examination documents
- Co-ordinating with the Academic Deans and Head of Departments on the submitting of examinations and grades reports
- Co-ordinating the administration of examinations
- Co-ordinating the production and release of performance reports to the students.
- A Master’s degree in Education or a related Social /Physical Science from a recognized university;
- 3 years working experience as an Assistant Registrar of an academic institution of higher learning;
- Working knowledge of statistical analysis and research methods;
- A pro-active individual with the ability to work with minimum supervision;
- A demonstrated competence in use of computer applications and ICT;
- Be a person of very high integrity and excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Allocate offices/facilities to various users.
- Ensure proper service provision, usage and accounting of utilities;
- Ensure all utility equipments are in good working order and bilk settled promptly;
- Regularly contact the utility service providers to ensure continuity of service;
- Facilitate provision of all required services for staff, students, & visitors/guests;
- Supervise and motivate staff in section for best performance;
- Ensure that the campus environment is kept clean and safe.
- Degree in Business Administration or Institutional Management;
- Those with Diploma in Business Administration, Institutional Management or Civil Engineering with 7 years experience will be considered;
- 4 years administrative experience in a busy environment for degree holders;
- Outstanding administrative skills;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in real estate administration will be on added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Man user service points;
- Maintain database of library users;
- Catalogue and classify library information resources.
- Bachelors degree in library and Information Science
- 3 years experience in library work;
- Hands on skills in MS Office and library automated systems;
- Basic knowledge and experience on all the library functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop cost effective marketing campaigns and strategies;
- Supervise the implementation of all marketing, advertising and promotional activities;
- Assist in conducting market research [or all programs;
- Carry out analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information;
- Manage the productivity of marketing plans and projects;
- Work with the creative designer in the design of the University’s promotional and advertising materials and manage the production of the some;
- Organize and implement campus open days.
- A Masters degree in Marketing or Communication;
- An Undergraduate degree in Social Sciences with a bias in Marketing or Communication,
- At least 5 years working experience in a sales or marketing environment;
- Strong communication, creative and interpersonal skills;
- Proven experience in customer and market research;
- Excellent organization and panning skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and effectively lead a team;
- Excellent articulation and presentation skills and ability to use audio visual equipment;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Kiswahili,
- Skills in event planning and management.
Responsibilities:
- To plan wholesome chapels for Daystar community on the three campuses;
- To develop discipleship spiritual nurture programmes for the community;
- To supervise assistant chaplains;
- To provide guidance, training, and mentoring to DCF for effective service within and outside Daystar;
- To organize outreach missions and pastoral care and visitations.
- To attend and prepare reports of various university Committees;
- In conjunction with the Internal Spiritual Nurture Committee, provide the overall spiritual oversight in the University;
- To represent the University in churches and Para-church conferences and consultative meetings.
- Must have a PhD in theology or Doctor of Ministry or Doctor of Divinity;
- Must have worked with the church for at least 7 years after ordination.
- Those with a Masters degree in Theology or Divinity must have at least 10 years of ministry experience;
- Ordained in a recognized evangelical church;
- A mature Christian with sound biblical, theological and high moral standing;
- A person of high integrity with a strong recommendation from his/her church;
- Discernible gifts as a preacher, Bible teacher and counsellor;
- A committed Christian with good references in professional competencies;
- Must have related work experience with students or youth ministries.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out counselling services among students in both one to one counselling and group therapy;
- Participate in recruiting, training and empowering peer counsellors;
- Develop peer counselling as an effective method of dealing with community members emotional needs;
- Coordinate and manage the activities of the peer counselling groups;
- Counsel students on matters related to the code of conduct;
- Organize seminars/workshops address members counselling needs;
- Work closely and in collaboration with other counsellors within the University to ensure that the University is ‘a counselling aware community’.
- A Masters degree in Counseling Psychology, Education or Clinical Psychology;
- Mature Christians with proven ability and integrity in counseling in a tertiary institution or a busy organization;
- At least 3 years experience in offering guidance and counseling services;
- Membership in a counseling body will be an added advantage.
