M.V. WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the above mentioned post at our plant M.V. Workshop.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A Graduate form NIT in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or FTC/Ordinary Diploma in Automobile Engineering, or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with more than 3 years experience in a reputable motor vehicle workshop.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To run the motor vehicle workshop economically and efficiently. To ensure that motor vehicles operate efficiently.
To perform duties as specified by his immediate superior.
To ensure that all Work Instructions, Procedures, and Policies related to company policies and regulations are adhered to at all times and updated as required due to operational changes.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
1. Good experience in handling a fleet of 200+ vehicles.
2. Good leadership quality and cohesiveness to lead a team of 15 people.
3. Knowledge in diagnosing and rectifying vehicle oriented problems.
4. Good knowledge in preventive & break-down maintenance procedure.
5. Good knowledge in engine, gearbox & other major,overhauls.
6. Fluency in kiswahili & english along with good communication skills.
7. Fairly good knowledge in computer speadsheet & database.
8. Good knowledge in documentation & record keeping.
9. Capable of giving a garage progress report. 1 o. Capable of driving heavy & medium vehicles.
11. Good knowledge in tyre maintenance.
12. Any other duties as assigned by his superiors
