Administration Officer- Logistics job in Kenya

An international Christian NGO is seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Administration Officer- Logistics

Purpose of Position:  Monitor office events and conferences and key point person for liaison with outsourced firms.  Follow up with Finance to ensure prompt payments for all goods and services procured; Preparation and Review Purchase Requisition Forms (PRF’s) for submission to Business Partner;

 Major Responsibilities

 ·         Act as link between the organization and outsourced firm for coordination of events, conferences and regional forums, ensuring administration processes and procedures are adhered to and seeking approvals as needed.

·         Prepare and review of all purchase requisition forms for approval and submission.

·         In liaison with outsourced travel firm, coordinate and monitor travel and transfers for staff and visitors.

·         In liaison with the Administration Manager ensure administration documentation and filing, oversee mail collection and distribution and monitor pool vehicle allocation and charge out.

 Knowledge, Skills and Experience

·         At least a Higher Diploma in Business Administration or related field.

·         At least 5 years experience in administration support with exposure to travel, procurement, accommodation, contracts, immigration procedures and embassy regulations

·         Good planning and organizational skills and efficient work methods

Ability to communicate within a cross-cultural environment essential
