OXFAM GB is a development, relief and campaigning organisation dedicated to finding lasting solutions to poverty, injustice and suffering around the world.

Kenya is one of the countries it operates in, under the Horn, East & Central Africa Region. The Regional Centre (RC) is based in Nairobi. Visiting international employees and local field staffs on rest and recuperation are often hosted by the RC and as such comfortable and relaxing accommodation facilities are provided for their period of stay.

The Regional Centre would like to recruit you to the position of the Guesthouse Supervisor to join an innovative team that provides hospitality services at the Oxfam GB guesthouse.

The role

The post holder will lead a team in providing facility management services that include but is not limited to hospitality, catering, resource management, management controls, budget management, stock management, ground maintenance and inspection of the premises.

You will also produce periodic management reports including cost/revenue & inventory information to ensure effective monitoring of the guesthouse operations.

The Person

To be successful in this role will have a diploma in hotel management or equivalent and/or three (3) years experience in a similar role.

You will be a team player, a strategic thinker, fluent in both English & Kiswahili languages with excellent interpersonal and computer skills.
