We are looking for qualified candidates to fill the following position.
Maintenance Supervisor
Reporting to the Plant Engineer, the incumbent will be expected to be a natural team leader, with the strong technical skill, experience, and energy to lead the Maintenance team in implementing the best maintenance strategy in order to accomplish overall objectives of the Department.

Maintenance Supervisor
Reporting to the Plant Engineer, the incumbent will be expected to be a natural team leader, with the strong technical skill, experience, and energy to lead the Maintenance team in implementing the best maintenance strategy in order to accomplish overall objectives of the Department.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Planning and executing maintenance program and schedules.
- Lead, influence and inspire own team to meet line objectives.
- Supervise and/or carry out maintenance activities on plant.
- Support Production supervisor in process management.
- Overall responsibility for management and supervision of team in the absence of Plant Engineer.
- Project management including supervision of third party contractors.
- Developing and retaining talent of supports through continuous performance appraisal and feedback.
- Drive compliance to Health, Safety & Environmental regulations in the Plant.
Experience & Background Required:
- Strictly Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 7 years’ maintenance experience in a busy plant.
- Registration by The Engineers Registration Board or Membership of a Professional body.
- Proven planning and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA 2007 and other applicable legislations.
- Experience in management of contracts.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Good exposure to ISO standards will be an added advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive problem solver and decision-maker.
