Brief Description

Accountable for the day-to-day operation of the center including meeting service level goals and maintaining an effective and efficient operation. Must be goal oriented and flexible in accepting assignments

Detailed Description
  • Provide direct supervision to coordinate and facilitate preventive and corrective hardware/software maintenance and fault diagnosis on training devices and related equipment
  • Supervise front-end operations such as scheduling accounts payable accounts receivable logistics and customer interface if applicable
  • Maintaining workflow to ensure that each training devise is ready for training
  • Control and administer systems to achieve 85% utilization.
  • Provide direct supervision to coordinate and facilitate preventive and corrective hardware/software maintenance and fault diagnosis on training devices and related equipment
  • Supervise front-end operations such as scheduling accounts payable accounts receivable logistics and customer interface if applicable
  • Maintaining workflow to ensure that each training devise is ready for training
  • Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on the simulators and associated hardware.
  • Learn and perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks on the simulators and associated hardware.
  • Complete all designated training activities.
  • Actively purse continued professional growth and training.
  • Perform administrative tasks as required.
  • Perform tasks to support the KQ simulator group as required.
  • Aerospace applications or other heavy industry is a plus
  • Good interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally
  • Good written and oral communication skills necessary for meetings and presentations
  • Oversee the creation of new modeling and simulation capability as well as deployment
  • Support the identification and implementation of noise and vibration design solutions through the use of analysis and experimentation.
  • This person will also have responsibility for the development of standard work and engineering standards.
  • Ability to work well with others, exhibiting teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask by handling diverse assignments concurrently
  • Mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
Job Requirements
  • Experience with developing and implementing noise and vibration control design.
  • You should have an understanding of programming skills in C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, and/or Fortran.
  • An open-minded and flexible.
  • Demonstrate ability to interpret system prints and schematics.
  • Formal training and experience in acoustic and vibration modeling, analysis, and experimental testing.
  • Developing and implementing noise and vibration control design solutions
  • Proficiency in operating test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, signal generator, logic analyzer, etc.)
  • Knowledge in analog and digital theory.
  • Computer literate (PC and / or computer mainframe/architecture).
  • Proficiency in soldering and circuit board repairs.

Additional Details
  • B.S. in Engineering with 5 or more years of experience in the field of
  • Acoustics and vibration. (Preferred) M.S./Ph.D. in Engineering with several years of industrial experience.
Note: This role also has a share report to Human Resource Director for the purpose of Training and Development. The role also has a shared report to Flight Ops Director for content compliance to legislation for the purpose of Crew validation
