External Examiners and Exam Markers Job Vacancies: KIM School of Management

The KIM School of Management seeks to recruit qualified, able and experienced External Examiners in the following fields:

* Marketing and Sales Management
* Business English and Communication
* Logistics, Purchasing and Supplies Management,
* Quantitative Techniques,
* Financial Management and Financing Economics,
* Project Management and NGO Management
* Statistics and Business Mathematics
* Management (Practice),
* Human Resources Management and Strategic Management
* TQM and Production Management Law
* Public Relations
* MIS and Computer Applications
* Health Care and Counseling
* Research Methods
* Financial and Cost Accounting

Duties and responsibilities of Exam Markers

* Selection and marking of dummy scripts Marking of scripts
* Additions of marks on the script
* Transfer of marks from the script to the score sheet
* Good moral standing - disclosure of interests in the marking process
* Attend the awards meeting and declare the results

Requirements for exam markers

* A minimum of a Master Degree in the area applied for
* 2-3 years teaching and or examining experience with a reputable Institution
* Certificate in examination management
* Familiarity with recent trends in marking including Conveyer Belt Marking system
* Experience in teaching and or examining KIM courses will be an added advantage
* Good moral standing

Duties and responsibilities of External Examiner

* Consider and approve all Examination papers including marking schemes
* Scrutinize marked scripts for quality and consistency
* Give professional opinion on Kim Exams

Requirements for external examiners

* A minimum of a Master degree in the area applied for
* At least five years of teaching experience in higher Institution of learning
* Familiarity with principles of exams management
* Experience of external examination and having worked in a reputable exam body is an added advantage
* KIM Lecturers/Examiners are ineligible
