Company Secretary Job Vacancy: Kenya Institute of Management (KIM)

The Kenya Institute of Management (KIM), established in 1954, is one of the fastest growing leadership and management development institutions in Africa.

KIM offers professional consultancy services in management training, research, and enterprise development. KIM also offers formal training both at the undergraduate and graduate levels with an annual enrollment of approximately 20,000 students.

KIM is looking for a Company Secretary.

Reporting to the KIM Council functionally and to the Executive Director administratively, the position will be responsible for:

* Ensuring compliance with the organizations Memorandum and Articles of Association.
* Ensuring all council meetings comply with the relevant rules and regulations as promulgated from time to time.
* Calling Council meetings in liaison with the Executive Director.
* Taking minutes during council and council committee meetings.
* Filing the Institutes annual returns as provided for in the law.
* Ensuring all aspects of governance is well taken care of in KIM operations.

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor of Laws degree, who is also a Certified Public Secretary (CPSK) of good standing with at least 5 years relevant experience from reputable organizations.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills are essential to this position.
