Retail Network Manager Job Vacancy in the Petroleum Industry

Required to spearhead the acquisition, development and management of service stations

Following a strategic decision, our client, a significant player in the petroleum industry has embarked on a major expansion of its network of service stations and now wishes to recruit a highly effective manager to drive this initiative.

The job

The successful candidate’s main responsibilities will include:-

• Improving the productivity of existing service stations;
• Identifying and acquiring sites for development;
• Achieving planned growth in service stations, sales volumes and gross margins;
• Setting performance targets and monitoring their achievement;
• Recruiting, training and managing dealers;
• Developing operational guidelines;
• Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and financial controls.

The person

We invite applications from Kenya citizens who:-

• Are aged 28-37 years;
• Hold a business oriented university degree in Commerce, Business Administration or similar disciplines;
• Have a proven track record in identifying sites, acquiring them and improving the productivity of service stations. In their applications, candidates should provide details of what they have done to improve productivity and the results achieved;
• Have well developed negotiation, influencing, communication and interpersonal skills;
• Have an entrepreneurial approach.
