Finance and Strategy Leader Job Vacancy in a travel and Tours Company in Kenya

A Travel and Tours Company in Kenya is looking for an experienced Finance and Strategy Leader and a Travel Team Leader

Finance and Strategy Leader

Reporting to the CEO, the Finance and Strategy leader will be responsible for the following:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the development and maintenance of sound financial management procedures
• Ensure that the books of accounts are maintained according to recognized accounting standards on a DAILY basis.
• Initiate and review financial policies and procedures
• Ensure that the organization makes the most efficient use of the company’s financial resources by managing its resources effectively
• Ensure that the organization complies with all statutory regulations.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• University degree in relevant field (B.Com/Accounting/Finance) and CPA or ACCA qualification
• Minimum five (5) years experience with at least 2 years in a senior position
• Proficiency in use of computers and accounting software packages

Competencies

• Must be a team player
• Demonstrable leadership skills and experience in leading diverse teams
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to think strategically
