The holder of this position who will report to the Finance Director will be responsible for sourcing, Contracting and supplier base management for Order Fulfillment processes and Indirect Material Supplies.
He/She will be expected to provide a competitive supplier base by finding and Contracting the most suitable suppliers in fulfilling the business requirements.

- Negotiating with locally owned suppliers in a proactive manner (direct and indirect) and own relationship
- Running reports to analyze spending and supplier performance
- Coordinating with Cluster Supply Manager.
- Updating Purchasing Requisitions with suppliers and prices
- Create Purchase Orders and is contact point for suppliers and internal parties.
- Following through on all orders
- Managing blocked receipts or invoices
Experience
- A minimum of three (3) years in a purchasing role including contracting.
- Experience in a manufacturing concern will be an added advantage.
- Strong demonstrated hands on experience in fact based negotiations, cost & price analysis and supplier management process.
- Thorough business understanding
Qualification
- A minimum of Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
- Certified Institute of Purchasing and Supplies qualification.
- Computer knowledge: Word, Excel, Power Point
- Knowledge of SAP/R3 will be an advantage
