Job Title: IT SPECIALIST 1
Primary Location: Nairobi, Kenya
The Job:
This role specializes in performing problem determination and problem source identification in software environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Problem analysis, evaluation, recreation, and resolution of customer reported problems
- The use of relevant problem management systems to search for the known problems and to create new entries/update existing entries
- Advice and guidance to customers regarding the use of software
- The use of technical resources and tools to answer customer questions and respond to customers requirements. Software environments include operating systems, programming languages, database managements systems, packages, and development tools.
Requirements
- Degree in IT related field
- At least 1 year experience in support on Websphere
- At least 3 years experience in Implementation and Technical Administration on AIX 5.3 upwards
- At least 3 years experience in AIX and Storage System Support
- Certified in AIX
