Main Purpose of Job
- Timely collection of debts due.
- Follow up of items in dispute.
- Calculation of KPI’s.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensuring that receipts from customers are booked
- Ensuring Credit Notes are raised for all goods returned by customers
- Ensures that Credit Notes are raised for all adjustments to customers accounts e.g. due to wrong pricing, discounting or taxation
- Ensuring that cash is collected on time when invoices fall due
- Print statements on time at the end of the month for onward transmission to customers
- Updates salesmen and Management on a weekly basis on collection via sales reports, weekly statement updates to salesmen and regular meetings.
- Manage small team of Accounts Receivable clerks.
- Calculate and report on KPI’s.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or related field / CPA K
- Minimum of 5 years related experience in a busy manufacturing environment
- Computer Skills (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
