University of Nairobi Job Vacancies

Applicants should be holders of a PhD degree in Law or its equivalent from recognized university with at least three (3) years teaching experience at the University level.

In addition, they must have minimum of two (2) publications in refereed journals or two (2) chapters in scholarly books since the last promotion/appointment.

Applicants with LLM and appropriate experience will also be considered.

The successful candidates will be based in Mombasa and will be expected to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Pharmacist, University Health Services

Applicants must be holders of a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized University and should be registered by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.

He/she should have working experience of five (5) years in a busy retail or hospital pharmacy.

The candidates should possess skills and knowledge of drug procurement, storage and distribution.

Applicants must have proven competence in use of spreadsheets, a hospital management information system and the ability to dispense on-line.

In addition, candidates must have shown outstanding administrative capabilities as well as high degree of professional competence in organizing and running Pharmaceutical services including monitoring of quality control of drugs and operation of drug policies and laws.

The successful candidate will report to the Chief Medical Officer and will be responsible for day-to-day organization of Pharmacies' functions, formulation and maintenance of high standards of Pharmaceutical practices in the University Health Services.
