Project Manager

Description

The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.

This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.

The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for directing and managing project development, conceptualization, reporting and delivery of KPI's.

Candidate will be required to communicate to project members frequently on changes in the project status.

The position demands motivation and supervision of all project teams and follow up on assigned tasks.

It is imperative that the candidate should be able to map the IT resources and co-ordinate with suppliers, vendors & partners needed to achieve project goals.

Requirements

The candidate must have a bachelor's degree or an MBA from a recognized university and should possess 4-6 years of direct work experience in IT project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.

A strong familiarity in project management software, dashboards, reports etc. is necessary.

The candidate must be able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines and must be a good problem solver.

Knowledge in IT and Telecom will be an added advantage.

Key Account Managers / Sr. Key Account Managers

Description

Positions are currently available for result-oriented individuals who will manage key account relationships and drive sales.

We are looking for consultative and performance oriented people with experience preferably in an IT solutions environment with a minimum 3-8 year's experience.

The job demands meeting of Quarterly/Annual sales targets.

Responsibilities

They will act as primary point-of-contact for client and will assists in sales strategy development.

The job demands regular reports and analysis of the competition and the market.

The position also requires you to be proactive in creating new markets and building MFI's client portfolio.

Requirements
  • Experience of between 3- 8 years sales experience is mandatory in the field of IT /Telecom/ ISP and handling Key Accounts (TOP 50) in Kenya preferably in an IT environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree/ MBA is required.
  • Knowledge in software/ hardware operation is an added advantage.
  • Experience in selling IT infastructure solutions/ data centeres/ Business applications/ Consultancy projects will be required.
Pre Sales Head/Sr. Consultants/ Engineers

Description

The Pre-Sales consultants will be measured on their ability to design and articulate bid-winning solutions to potential clients through working in partnership with the other pre-sales staff.

We are looking for performance oriented people with experience in pre-sales preferably in an IT solutions environment with a minimum 2-5 year's experience.

Responsibilities
  • Day to day activities revolve around developing activities to assist in closing deals, tendering and preparing tender documents, allocation of work load to the team.
  • The position requires that you have a good ear for changing trends and preferences by our existing customers and our prospects.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree and/or a Diploma in IT, an MBA from a recognized university and must have knowledge in software /hardware operations.
  • A positive attitude is demanded of the job.
  • The candidate must have experience of 2-5 years in technical selling and must possess among other things a passion and motivation to succeed and ideally be a good communicator.
  • Any of the following vendor technology skills are required: CISCO SUN, Dell, HP, IBM, IT Security, Information Security, EMC, Net Apps, and Oracle
Pre Sales Head/ Engineers - Asset Management

Description

The candidate will be measured on their ability to design and then articulate bid-winning solutions to potential clients through working in partnership with the other pre-sales sales staff.

We are looking for consultative and performance oriented people with experience in pre-sales preferably in an IT solutions environment with a minimum 3-8 year's
experience.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities-revolve around presales activities for IP based asset management systems and proof-of-concept (POC) activities in order to assist sales in closing deals.

In addition, the holder of this position is also involved as a design & solution architect in preparation of the tender requirements and submission for projects.

Lastly, the position holder must be able to work with sales teams to capture requirements from prospects (either from customer documents or by attending meetings with prospect and salesperson).

Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree (Electrical /Mechanical)/Diploma in Engineer, IT, computers/MBA from a recognized university with strong IT knowledge in Software /Hardware.
  • Good experience in construction /utility Industry will be an added advantage.
  • Experience of 3-6 years in the technology area of specialization and in particular technical solution selling and pre sales presentations and designing is required.
  • Any of the following technology skills are required: Structured cabling / Building management systems / IP based asset management systems /monitoring & access /RFID /Utility Systems /SCADA/Q management systems and other Related hardware & software skills.
Human Resource Executive

Description
  • Shoulder responsibilities such as assisting in recruitment, training, development, employee counseling and performance management.
Responsibilities
  • Assisting in providing advice to the staff, supervision and training.
  • The HR Executive is expected to coordinate the process of developing employee performance reviews and should also inform them about the policies of the company.
  • The position also requires one to be able to design and organize employee training programs based on various changing needs.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in commerce with an emphasis on human resource management is essential.
  • Membership to a professional body is an added advantage.
  • A good understanding of tax and employment laws is critical.
  • Good decision making and problem solving skills are required for the position.
