SPONSORSHIP COORDINATOR EAST AFRICA PURPOSE OF POSITION
The purpose of the position is to contribute to effective and efficient sponsorship operations in the region, by conducting primary analysis of sponsorship information available through existing systems and databases and interpret trends and observations for management action and by providing administrative support to the Senior Regional Sponsorship Specialist and monitor and track implementation of Regional or Partnership wide sponsorship priorities.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Analysis of Sponsorship Information
• Conduct regular reviews, assessment of the various sponsorship systems databases and awareness raising of urgent action items with the Regional Senior Sponsorship Specialist.
• Documenting and rising with the Regional Senior Sponsorship Specialist(s) key action items and issues related to the roll out implementation and operation of key sponsorship projects such STEP.
• Review NO input into the SOI database for timeliness, completeness and accuracy.
• Analysis of SOI database and documentation of regional monthly performance trends for use by key stakeholders
• Compile summarized quarterly trends for sponsorship performance for the management action of the Regional Senior Sponsorship Specialists.
• Noting and compilation of a log of issues and action items raised by National, Sub-regional, Support and Partnership Offices related to other sponsorship systems and processes inclusive of : SD+, DI, QS etc Administrative Support
• Provide daily administrative support for the efficient and effective management of the regional sponsorship office(s)
• Develop, maintain and maintain an MS Project log of sponsorship projects including progress including a summary of progress based on input from the NOs and Regional Senior Sponsorship Specialist(s)
• Provide logistical and other support for successful implementation of regional sponsorship trainings, workshops, meetings and other events.
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders and regional staff for timely acquittal of SAs and other information to the National, Support and Partnership Offices.
• Provide support with respect to timely and complete submission of sponsorship reports inclusive of Annual Censuses, DI and STEP Project Updates among others
• Provide support to other functions sectors as may be required depending operational priorities.
• Maintain and update a calendar of key sponsorship activities and events
• Designs and develops a file keeping and monitoring system, either electronically or manual, considering the confidentiality of records and easy access of these information to designated users.
• Tracking of document submissions, and making appropriate follow-up where necessary.
• Setting up conference calls and other meetings. Plans, coordinates and schedule meetings and appointments. Organizes workshop and/or conference for the team related to logistics.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• A Bachelor’s degree in Management, Information Sciences, Administration or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in data analysis and or admin / project management support role.
• Good knowledge and understanding Sponsorship and systems preferred.
• Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and report writing skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications specifically on MS Office and Project Management.
• Must have the ability to work under pressure and on multiple tasks/changing assignments. Must have the ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them through to completion.
• Ability and willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
• Clear verbal and written English communication skills. Knowledge of French would be an added advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and relational skills
• Strong Christian commitment coupled with religious sensitivity in working and communicating with people of other faiths and willing to participate in devotions and pray for the orgainsation.
