Assistant to the Head of Clinical Services
Reporting to the Head of Clinical Services, the prospective candidate will be expected to perform the following main duties.

Assistant to the Head of Clinical Services
Reporting to the Head of Clinical Services, the prospective candidate will be expected to perform the following main duties.
Assist the Head of Clinical Services.
- In the overall management and administration of Clinical Services.
- Establish proper internal monitoring, control systems and standards of operating procedures.
- Liaising with various donors to ensure existence of healthy and cordial relationship.
- Supervision and training of clinical staff, provide leadership and build teamwork.
- Serve as an addiction counselor for the SAPTA Main Office Treatment Group(s)
- Preparation and submission of regular clinical reports to the satisfaction of SAPTA’s donors and management.
- Form a link between SAPTA and its beneficiaries.
- Represent SAPTA in relevant forums.
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- Have at least 3 years proven practical experience in management of Human Service Programs.
- Experience working with various ethnic populations.
- Have a clear understanding of the connection of substance use disorders and HIV /AIDs/ ART and TB.
- Practical experience in monitoring and evaluation.
- Good interpersonal and public relations skills.
- Highly analytical and organized decision maker.
- Preference for a candidate who possesses a Masters Degree in Counseling and a Diploma in Substance Abuse Counseling.
- Additional training in management will be an added advantage.

- BA in Counseling/Psychology with minor in Chemical Dependency Counseling
- Research Skills: knowledge of statistics;
- Excellent English Writing Skills;
- Computer/ICT literate with Advanced PowerPoint Skills
