WWF- Eastern & Southern Africa Regional Programme Office (WWF-ESARPO), is seeking to recruit a: Programme Technical Assistant
This is a temporary post based in Nairobi, at the WWF-Eastern & Southern Africa Regional Programme Office.
The holder of the position will play a major role in providing administrative support to the Environmental Hazard Programme (EHP) Coordinator.
S/he will be expected to assist the Programme Coordinator in project development, the preparation and production of work plans and budgets, monitoring the implementation of the said plans and assist the coordinator in the production of technical reports and other materials.

Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess
- a University Degree in Environmental Science or Management, International Development, Development Communications, or related studies;
- Possession of a Masters degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage;
- must have a minimum of 3 years experience working in programme support in an International Organisation with an environmental or conservation focus;
- strong written and oral communication skills;
- excellent knowledge of computer applications (knowledge of graphics software an advantage);
- fluency in English while a working knowledge of French will be an added advantage;
- this position requires excellent analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills and good work ethics with minimum supervision;
