1. Background
The UN Millennium Campaign Africa works with civil society organizations, parliamentarians, local authorities, youth, media, faith-based organisations and the private sector.
The principal role of the MDG Advocacy Officer will be to support the implementation of the MDG campaign and policy advocacy initiatives by Civil Society Organizations and other partners as well as to foster the UN inter-agency collaboration and public and media outreach at the national level.

- A Masters Degree in social sciences, communications, journalism, public relations, political science, humanities or other related field. ,
Experience:
- At least 5 years relevant experience in media; academia, research institution, public relations-related field and/or communications with a reputable organization that has a good networking experience with development organisations and social movements.
