Kapkatet Tea Factory Co Ltd Jobs: Boiler Technician

Kapkatet Tea Factory Co. Ltd is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified, dynamic and self motivated person to fill the following vacant position.

Boiler Technician

Reporting to the Plant Technician - the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Supervising all boiler operations staff;
• Operating steam supply equipment as per approved procedures;
• Reporting and correcting any malfunction of the steam supply equipment;
• Supplying adequate steam in the production lines;
• Adding treated water and chemicals to boiler systems;
• Monitoring pressure and steam supply to the factory;
• Ensuring that all the boiler operations records are accurately kept and updated;
• Preparation of the boilers for annual inspections;
• Observing and complying with environmental, health and safety measures and regulations.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• '0' Level Division II or KCSE "C" Plain;
• Final Craft Certificate in Boiler Operation;
• At least five (5) years working experience in a similar position;
• Be aged not more than 35 years.
