Dominion Farms Limited which is a highly regarded Kenyan company in the production and sale of Prime Harvest rice and tilapia fish, situated in Nyanza Province is recruiting a self-motivated, focused person to take up the position of:

Rice Mill Manager

Main Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for running the mill which currently produces 5,000 tonnes of paddy pa.
• Supervision of mechanical and engineering aspects.
• Planning and implementation of budgets
• Coordinating dispatches
• Day to day administration and personnel issues

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree or other relevant Mechanical Qualification
• Familiar with industrial electrical systems
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Access required.
• Minimum of 10 - 15 years experience in a very senior position in a working mill
  
• Must be able to work with people with a soft, but firm nature
• Male or female between 35 - 45 years
• Available to relocate to rural area.

• Accurate with attention to detail
• Extremely time conscious and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and production targets
• Easy going and ability to liaise with people from all walks of life
