Livelihood Improvement Project (JICA) looking for project staff

The Project on Livelihood Improvement in and around Juba for Sustainable Peace and Development in Southern Sudan (LIPS) is looking for following project staff !!!

o Project Coordinator
o Project Assistant Coordinator
o Farm Manager
o IGA (Income Generation Activity) coordinator

LIPS is a technical cooperation project funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). It is a 36 month project and initiated in February 2009.


The overall goal of the project is to improve livelihood of the community people through the adaptation of “Livelihood Improvement Models” in and out of Juba. The project aims to develop and establish basic conditions for extension of said Models suitable for various communities in and around Juba. The project counterpart ministries are MCRD/GoSS, MSDGRA/CES, and MAFARF/CES.

The above project are now advertising above mentioned project staff to join the project for its smooth implementation.

Roles and required qualification and experience for each position are described below.

Those who are interested, kindly bring your CV to LIPS/JICA office at Munuki within the compound of the Directorate of Community Development and AMADI Rural Development Institute by the 10th of November, 2009.
