ACCOUNTS & ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
Acacia Ventures Limited is a new, fast growing and the leading quality passenger transport company operating out of Kisumu hub. The company is looking for dynamic and results oriented individual with strong abilities in accounting and office administration to join its current team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position reports to the Operations Manager and the successful candidate will be responsible for all accounting and office administration functions listed below.
- Preparation and maintenance of books of accounts and financial returns
- Preparation and filing of statutory returns
- Preparation of cash flow statements
- Maintenance of suppliers records and preparation of payments
- Preparation of staff salaries and wages
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for the Board of Directors and any such reports as may be required from time to time.
- Maintenance of office facilities
- Safe custody of company assets
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- At least three years continuous experience in similar position and/or responsibilities.
- At least CPA 1
- At least KCSE certificate with C+.
- University degree and/or diploma in business administration from reputable education institution would be an advantage.
- Good knowledge and practical experience in using Quick Books, MS Office applications particularly Excel and Word.
