Your tasks:
You will be responsible for vendor development and material sourcing, purchase order release and procurement of materials, annual maintenance contracts (AMC), work contracts (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), general contracts, and Imports
Location: Tanzania
Your qualifications:
- Graduate/ Post Graduate in Science/ Engineering with at least 10 years experience in procurement of bulk materials and contracting
- Professional/ Certified course related to Purchasing from NBMM/ reputed institute
- Knowledge of local taxes and levies and their implications on the pricing, Transportation
- Knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to import of materials and outsourcing of the services from abroad
- Experience in aspects of Imports/exports including LC, remittances, tax saving schemes
- Experience in costing of components/ equipments and estimation of value of works
