Responsibilities for the position include:-
- Allocating work to employees and supervising them accordingly.
- Setting performance standards, communicating and enforcing as appropriate.
- Assessing performance of the team and reporting to management.
- Identifying process and work flow bottlenecks and reporting solutions to management.
- Training, motivating, disciplining of employees and fostering teamwork.
- Securing working tools and ensuring they are kept in good working condition.
We would like to discuss this position with candidates who meet the following minimum specifications:
- Be between 25 and 35 years of age
- Have a Diploma/University degree in Horticulture or General Agriculture
- Proficiency in Microsoft office applications and or other technical management information systems
- Have at least 3 years of proven experience in flower production, post harvest operations or FMCG setup.
- Experience in automated processing/manufacturing processing system will be an added advantage
- Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to train, manage and supervise a multi-disciplinary team;
- A strong team player with good communication, analytical, statistical and reporting skills
