1. Human Resources & Administration Manager
Job Purpose: To ensure that GDFCS attracts and retains well qualified staff and that the organization has sufficient and motivated staff, in the right numbers and with necessary skills, at the right time.
The HR and Administration Manager will also develop and ensure implementation of
administrative policies and procedures for efficient and effective operation of GDFCS.

The HR and Administration Manager will also develop and ensure implementation of
administrative policies and procedures for efficient and effective operation of GDFCS.
Duties:-
- Formulation, review and administration of Human Resource Policies & Procedures Manual with a mandate to provide guideline for the management and administrative structures critical to optimal use of human resource capital;
- Formulate a HR strategy in line with the organization’s strategic objective;
- Design, monitor & evaluate the implementation of the Manpower Plan;
- Design, implement and consolidate a Performance Management System for performance management and appraisal;
- Managing staff recruitment and induction process;
- Administering employee assistance and welfare programs;
- Managing health and safety programs
- Conduct training needs assessment and design need-based solutions including skills and capacity building training courses;
- Mentoring & coaching to build the capacity and facilitate the transfer of critical skills & knowledge.
- Providing specialised support to other departments and managers;
- Planning, organizing, providing leadership and controlling on all administrative functions
- Coordinate training needs analysis and organise for appropriate training programmes for employees of the society
- Advise in the light of society pay policy, reward management procedures and pay levels and ensures that the systems and procedures are administered effectively and in accordance with agreed budgets
- Provide advice and services on day to day employee relation issues and on programmes for involvement, empowerment and communication within the framework of GDFCS management and employment policy
- Maintain up to date record of employees in areas of personal data, remuneration, career plan, training and grading
- Coordinating and directing all administrative matters of the organization including the following:
- Security: Coordinate security arrangements for society property and occupants
- Office Support Services: Direct the provision and implementation of office support services including mailing, messenger, reception and tea services
- Transport: Ensure efficient provision of transport services to the society.
Minimum academic and professional qualifications:
- MBA (Human Resource Management)
- First degree in Social Sciences.
- Post-graduate Diploma in Human Resources.
- A result – driven and dynamic person with minimum of 8 years experience in senior management position in HR.
Skills and competencies:
- Exposed to working with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and with well developed computer skills.
- Effective communication with good persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Having excellent interpersonal skills with proven abilities to work in multidisciplinary team.
- Good in communication skills.
- Must be focused and futuristic in thinking.
2. Milk Packaging Technical Operator
Job Purpose: Operate and maintain the machine in the most efficient way
Duties:
Job Purpose: Operate and maintain the machine in the most efficient way
Duties:
- Carrying out proper and efficient operations of milk packaging to achieve set quantitative and qualitative production targets.
- Operations of other components applied in the production process e.g. CIP units.
- Work closely with engineering maintenance personnel in facilitating and ensuring proper machines and equipment servicing and maintenance.
- Liaise and work closely with the Quality Assurance personnel in facilitating and ensuring conformance to milk and milk products statutory standards.
- Must be a team player.
Minimum Academic and Professional qualifications:
- Minimum of C+ in K.C.S.E
- Diploma in Mechanical (plant option) or Electrical engineering from a recognized institution
- Practical technical experience on the machine for at least two years
- Experience as a pouch/tetra classic packaging machine operator is an added advantage
- Must be prepared to work on shift
- Knowledge and experience in HACCP and ISO management systems will be an added advantage
- Computer literacy will be an added advantage
- 25-30 years
3. Boiler Operator
Job Purpose: Ensure that the boiler runs in the most efficient way
Duties:

- Monitoring fuel stock level in the boiler
- Maintain boiler records
- Ensure that the boiler room is kept at acceptable standards
Minimum academic and professional qualifications:
- K.C.S.E. certificate C plain
- Certificate in boiler operation
- 3 years hand on experience
- Above 25 years
