The work objective of the this position is to assist professional librarians in the day-to-day management of the information resources, and specifically to:
- Assist in the development of KVRC information resources and services.
- Receive, process and organize information resources.
- Perform indexing and cataloguing of information materials and documents using internationally accepted cataloging and classification standards and procedures.
- Provide reference services and help users locate information locally and online.

- Locate, procure, organize and maintain information documents and resources and perform cataloguing and coding of library materials;
- Disseminate information by issuing library materials to within the Bank and externally
- Assist users to use KVRC resources and services.
- Search for and retrieve documents and information using the Web and other online information databases
- Perform other routine library information services as and when needed.
This position does not afford international privileges

- At least a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant practical experience, using a centralized data management system.
- Familiarity with document retention policies guidelines and procedures of multilateral development institution.
- High level communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and writing skills in English and/or French, with a working knowledge of the other language.
- Systematic and analytical skills, with strong numerical ability, and great attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to provide feedback.
- Competence in the use of standard software used in the Bank.
