The company is looking for adept, energetic, motivated and ambitious individuals to fill the following positions spread across the country including at its Head Office in Nairobi.

Branch Manager
1 Position

Role
  • To grow and establish business partners for the branch office and provide administrative oversight to branch activities.
Minimum Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance or Marketing.
  • 10 years working experience as a Senior Underwriter and /or Senior Marketer in the insurance industry is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated progression in professional qualifications in insurance.
  • Flexibility to live and work outside of Nairobi.
  • Between 35 years and 45 years of age.
Agency Manager – General Business
1 Position

Role
  • To generate business, recruit, train and supervise direct sales agents
Minimum Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance or Marketing.
  • 7 years progressive working experience as a marketer in charge of a large sales team.
  • Experience in risk assessment and knowledge of general business underwriting at middle to senior level.
  • Demonstrated progression in professional qualifications.
  • Flexibility to work in and outside of Nairobi.
  • Between 35 years and 45 years of age.
Marketing Executive
2 Positions
  • 1 Position - General Business
  • 1 Position - Life Business
Role
  • Sourcing out and maintaining business relationships with corporate clients, development of new products and business partnerships.
Minimum Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance or Marketing.
  • 5 years progressive working experience as a marketer in an insurance company.
  • Experience in risk assessment and knowledge of underwriting at middle to senior level.
  • Demonstrated progression in professional qualifications.
  • Flexibility to work in and outside of Nairobi.
  • Between 30 years and 45 years of age.
Underwriting Assistant / Officer
3 Positions

Role
  • Risk assessment and acceptance, processing underwriting documents and ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved optimally through effective and efficient service.
Minimum and Desirable Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance
  • 5 credits in professional examinations.
  • 3 years of experience in a similar position in an insurance company.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle clients.
  • Previous experience with an insurance management information system is a requirement.
  • Candidates with knowledge on Sharia Law are encouraged to apply and will have an added advantage though this is not a compulsory requirement.
Claims Recoveries Assistant
1 Position

Role
  • To assist in processing claims and spearheading claims recoveries.
Minimum and Desirable Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce - Insurance option. Candidates with an additional Diploma in Law will have an added advantage.
  • 2 years experience in a busy claims department with bias towards recoveries section.
  • Professional qualifications in insurance shall be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle clients.
Claims Assistant
1 Position

Role
  • To assist in claims processing.
Minimum and Desirable Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance or Economics.
  • 2 years experience in a busy claims department.
  • Professional qualifications in insurance shall be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle clients.
Legal Clerk
1 Position

Role
  • To assist the legal department in day to day operations.
Minimum and Desirable Qualifications
  • A Diploma in Law. Holders of a Degree will have an added advantage.
  • Min 2 years post qualification experience in active legal work.
  • Working knowledge in general and insurance law and general court processes.
  • Previous experience in an insurance company will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with large volumes of work and ability to perform within strict deadlines.
Customer Service Assistant
Underwriting & Claims - Life Business
2 Positions

Role
  • To ensure customer satisfaction is achieved optimally through effective and efficient services and to efficiently handle claims in the Life Division.
Minimum and Desirable Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Continuing professional qualifications in insurance shall be an added advantage but not a requirement.
  • 3 years of experience in a similar position or underwriting/claims in insurance of life business.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle clients professionally.
  • Previous experience with an insurance management information system is a requirement.
Human Resources Assistant

Role
  • To provide administrative support to the HR function.
Minimum and Desirable Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a social science. Applicants with specific training in HR will have an added advantage
  • 2 years of experience in busy HR department
  • Demonstrated analytical and people skills.
ICT Manager

Role
  • Develop, design, maintain and manage progressive infrastructure solutions with a long-term view to the business objectives and a view towards reliability, availability, security, efficiency and cost effectiveness
Minimum and Desirable Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology with 7 years post qualification experience.
  • Must be a holder of Microsoft Certified IT Professional and CISCO Certified Network Associate certification.
  • 5 years experience in leadership of large scale systems planning, analysis, design and development
  • Demonstrated and proven experience in infrastructure and application development.
  • Experience in multi-platform environments consisting of windows, Linux and Unix
  • Experience in set up and management of distributed network environments.
  • Experience in design, implementation and management of network security
  • Experience with oracle database environments, high availability environments and recovery processes and solutions
  • Experience with data centre management and efficiency.
  • Must be results oriented, with strong analytical, communication and organizing skills.
  • Must have superior people and project management skills.
  • Must be agile and versatile in approach and up to date on current ICT trends
  • Age between 30 – 45 years
ICT Assistant

Role
  • Provision of efficient technical support of the company’s ICT functions within and between branch offices.
Minimum and Desirable Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in information technology.
  • 2 years experience in a similar position.
  • Previous experience and certification in network administration and data management is compulsory.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with diverse management information systems and general understanding of and ability to work with various interface concepts.
  • Must be agile and up to date on current ICT trends
Reinsurance Officer

Role
  • Assist in ensuring smooth running of the Company’s Reinsurance Programme, while contributing to the overall efficiency of the Reinsurance Section.
Minimum and Desirable Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Progressive professional qualifications in Insurance and/or Accounting.
  • 2 years experience in a similar position in an insurance company.
  • Previous experience in a computerised environment will be an added advantage.
Secretary / Receptionist

Minimum Requirements
  • Higher Diploma in Secretarial Studies. Graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • 5 years post certification experience in a similar position in a professional environment in the financial or hospitality sector is mandatory.
  • Must be mature, posses a professional outlook, fluent in written and spoken English and Swahili and aged between 30 – 40 years
  • Demonstrated ability to work professionally and deal with large volumes of work and ability to perform within strict deadlines.
  • Candidates with knowledge of Sharia Law are encouraged to apply though this is not a compulsory requirement.
Administration Assistant

Role
  • To provide support to the administrative functions of the company and ensure smooth running of business including procurement and stores management.
Minimum and Desirable Qualifications
  • A degree in Business Administration or a higher diploma in stores management and procurement.
  • 2 years experience in general office administration with experience in procurement.
  • Proficiency in various computer applications, especially spreadsheets, is a requirement for this position.
  • Demonstrated ability to work professionally and deal with large volumes of data and work assignments and ability to perform within strict deadlines.
Driver / Rider

Role
  • To provide messenger related services to the company.
Minimum and Desirable Qualifications
  • O level certificate.
  • A valid driver’s licence EFG classes and a current Certificate of Good Conduct.
  • 2 years experience with a medium sized company and 2 years continuous driving of both a motor cycle and saloon vehicle. Present and former PSV vehicle drivers need not apply.
  • Letter of recommendation confirming driving and riding ability from previous employers is compulsory and must be attached to the application.
  • Demonstrated ability to work professionally and deal with large volumes of work and ability to perform within strict deadlines.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Kiswahili.
