Customer Assistance Centre (CAC) Co-ordinator Job Opportunity: Wartsila

As part of our growth strategy to further strengthen and consolidate our business in this region, Wartsila Eastern Africa Ltd wishes to recruit a results driven and self motivated individual to fill in the position of CAC Co-ordinator.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Support the Customer in the operational issues of the plant
* Report technical concerns to the product factory and support the customer in the operational issues of the plant with positive attitude
* Exercise the tasks delegated by the Warranty Manager
* Manage time scheduling for warranty work and follow-up
* Participate in local purchasing procedures
* Co-ordinate all warranty claims with the Customer and Warranty Manager
* Ensure quality and conformity of mechanical installation works and materials used with design and give feedback to home office and designers
* Negotiate with customers
* Handle technical discussions/communications with the product factories
* Register the warranty claim in SAP and provide all relevant information needed for solving a claim
* Keep the nominated Service Sales Account Manager informed about the present status of warranty matters
* Create and maintain good human relations at site.

Qualifications & Experiences

* Degree holder in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* Project management skills
* Operation and Maintenance related knowledge of Heavy fuel & Gas operated power plants/equipments.
* Site support management
* Proficient in computer packages
