- Developing and maintaining relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential customer / client accounts in line with the set revenue and volume targets by visiting current and potential customers to prospect for new business.

Summary of Position Responsibilities:
- Direct responsibility to develop and maintain relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential customer / clients accounts in line with the set revenue and volume targets by visiting potential customers to prospect for new business.
- Building long-term relationships with customers to ensure close monitoring of customer’s needs and supplying the same needs
- Providing quality service to the customers to ensure customer retention hence repeat sales
- Providing the company with market intelligence from the competitors, customers and the industry in general by gathering market and customer information
- Advising the Sales Manager on the appropriate promotional programs to increase sales
- Communicating effectively with the management team/sales colleagues and the other colleagues in other departments
- Exercising initiatives, taking decisions promptly and managing resources cost effectively
- Working under pressure is unavoidable when schedules change and problems arise, but deadlines and goals still must be met.
- Work closely with other sales staff to generate ideas for a campaign, oversee a creative staff that develops the advertising
- Work with the finance department to prepare a budget and cost estimates for the campaign. maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails;
- Acting as a contact between Benchmark Solutions and its existing and potential markets by representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales, negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications with managers;
- Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office; reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
- Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements;
- Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations;
The Account Executive plays a pivotal role in the company as he/she is the ambassador of Benchmark Solutions to the customers as well as a critical link between the customers and the company.
The Sales Executive is the main source of revenue generation from the customers and he/she has to perform that important role by being professional in the eyes of the customers.
He/she has to advice the management on market conditions and provides the Sales Manager with accurate sales forecasts of business from his/her area that is useful for budget preparations.
Working Conditions
The Account Executive’s role is to spend up to 80% of his/her time servicing clients in the field.
However, when working in the office the Sales Executive is expected to keeping his/her area neat, secure and safe at all times.
