We are currently hiring for a East Africa Senior Director Operations reporting to the Regional Vice President East Africa based in Nairobi, Kenya.
Responsibilities
- This position is responsible for providing quality and efficient operational leadership across 9 National Offices in alignment with the World Vision partnership and regional strategic direction.
- Provides direct line management supervision for 4 senior leaders of Functional or Ministry areas and matrix (shared) management with 5 shared services leads, Project Management, Quality Assurance and Executive Support.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years experience providing operational leadership with in a complex, international organization (preferably in an INGO context)
- Experience in more than one functional area and or country is preferred
- Successful and proven track record of managing people in a cross-cultural setting and communicating, initiating and implementing organizational change at a leadership level
- A mature and committed Christian who can lead spiritual nurture activities; attends and participates in weekly chapel and daily devotional meetings
- Fluency in English is required
- Ability to travel regionally and internationally up to 12 weeks per year
