Qualifications:
Applying candidates should possess the following requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in Agriculture Science, Business Management or Economics
- A minimum of 5 years experience in the agricultural sector working directly with farmers
- Strong knowledge of cotton sector and cotton marketing (knowledge of cotton agronomy is an added advantage)
- Strong private sector experience and entrepreneurial skills
- Proven track record of developing complex client business plans
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrates strong passion for assisting small farmers in building profitable and sustainable businesses that benefit them
- Strong financial analysis and management skills
- Strong skills in business software (Excel, MS Project and Power Point)
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Kiswahili
- Ability to develop well written, cohesive reports that are responsive to the donors' needs
- A valid driving license
Remuneration:
