A Deputy Director is being recruited to support Coffee Initiative Director in day-to-day leadership and management of the Coffee program.
The position will also be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with Coffee industry and local stakeholders.

- Bachelors Degree (Masters Degree preferred) in Agricultural Sciences or related field.
- 10+ years experience in private sector agribusiness, with at least 5 years experience in senior management level positions.
- Strong coffee and agricultural expertise preferred, especially in regard to the development of coffee value chains in the interests of smallholder farmers.
- Solid private sector strategy and management experience in areas such as business development, consulting, training, financial analysis, and marketing.
- Entrepreneurial.
- Inspirational leader of professional staff.
- Developing country experience.
- Strong relationships with government and coffee private sector.
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills.
- Excellent oral & written presentation skills in English and Swahili.
- Commitment to work in a gender sensitive environment.
