Nyanza Reproductive Health Society (NRHS) Jobs: Senior Accountant

The Nyanza Reproductive Health Society (NRHS) is a Non Governmental Organization dedicated to improving reproductive health of men and women.

NRHS is seeking to hire a qualified and competent Senior Accountant to be in charge of the Male Circumcision Program (MCP) Accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor project funds utilization to produce monthly reports for presentation to the donors.
• Monitor cash positions at banks to ensure adequate levels for operations and other uses.
• Ensure accurate monthly or regular reporting of financial performance /review of project accounts to the Finance and Administration Manager and the Project Coordinator.
• Process payroll and effect payment of statutory deductions and any other payroll deductions including filing Annual Returns to the relevant Government in a timely manner.
• Supervision and guidance of Junior Accountants on the day to day processing of accounting transactions and related operations.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Ability to lead, motivate and work in a team.
• Experience of more than one year in supervising junior accounting staff
• A minimum of CPA (K) Qualifications, a Bachelors Degree in a Business field will be an added advantage.
• At least 3 years experience managing large donor funded projects preferably PEPFAR
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Extensive QuickBooks software knowledge
