Community Aid International (CAI) is a non-governmental organization working on: Social Justice (including Gender, Governance and Human Rights); Poverty Reduction & Wealth Creation; and, Reproductive Health & HIV/AIDS.

The organization has its head office in Nairobi with programming activities in the regions.

Summary of Responsibility:

The holder of this position, reporting to and working closely with the Executive Director and based in Nairobi, will provide leadership on and coordinate all programming activities under the theme of Social Justice - covering governance, human rights and gender.

She/he will be part of the senior management team providing leadership on programme and organizational development.

Qualifications:

The candidate should be 35 – 45 years; a university graduate in social sciences; at least 5 years of relevant experience; a team player with leadership skills; excellent communication and social skills; track record in programme management and resource mobilization; dynamic, resourceful and passionate in the thematic area; available immediately.
