Capacity Planning Engineer

Designing the circuits to meet customer needs, and partnering with backhaul providers, you will provision, test and accept capacity. Meeting business and customer demands, you will forecast capacity, to propose and procure expansion. Management of the Network Administration System database, inventory, and network upgrades and modifications will add variety to your role, as will proposing, negotiating and implementing restoration agreements for cable repairs.
A degreed engineer with a Networking qualification with five years in Telecommunications, you should be a professional communicator in English, and willing to travel to meet customer and provider needs, from the Head Office base in Mauritius.
The door is open to you if your knowledge of Optical transmission systems (DWDM, SDH, Ethernet) is sound, you have skill operating databases such as OSS/BSS and you can prove your experience in managing and forecasting technical assets. You will be at an advantage if you have experience in IP/MPLS or Telecom Submarine Cable O&M experience, and preferably Optical transmission network planning experience.

IP Support Engineer
Engineer the next step in your career with this opportunity to plan and deliver the IP /MPLS Network and its Services. Customer-passionate, you will ensure availability and O&M by co-ordinating with upstream providers and field teams, and by monitoring and reporting on quality. You will support product development and vendor management.
A degreed engineer with a Networking qualification and four years in Telecommunications, you should be comfortable in a multi-cultural English-speaking team. You can look forward to multi-continent travel to effectively deliver this role, from the Head Office base in Mauritius.
This opportunity is open to you if you have sound knowledge of IP/MPLS, Ethernet, IP VPN, BGP configurations, and Traffic engineering. You should be familiarity with Internet regulatory rules and organisational requirements, and have proved yourself in technical operations where reports needed generating. Your skill in configuring and maintaining of CISCO, JUNIPER core and Aggregate routers should be doubtless. The strongest candidates will have IP/MPLS Network O&M experience as well.

Quality Analysis Engineer
Connection is the key to this opportunity, where you will govern the day to day Operations of the Network, contracted through OA&M, co-ordinate with Backhaul Service Providers for O &M and ensure the availability of the network. You will also connect the value chain, as you monitor and report the performance of the network and ensure the corrective maintenance done in case of any deviation, and maintain and report on the Customer SLA. Reporting on the Quality of such, you will ensure, analyse and measure the Network OA&M contract and third party contracts, and prepare Periodical Operational reports and annual and regular OPS budget and Cost control reports.
Your Engineering degree and Networking certificate should be complemented with over four years’ experience in order to open the door to applying for this role, based at the Head Office in Mauritius with extensive interaction across our multi-cultural English-speaking teams across Africa and India.
Your technical Operations and report-generating experience, preferably Optical Transmission Network O&M experience, will be based on a sound knowledge of Optical transmission systems (DWDM, SDH, Ethernet), and if you have IP/MPLS or Telecom Submarine Cable O&M experience you will be at an advantage. Skill in operating databases such as OSS/BSS will put you ahead. You will be skilled in leading technical people, rigorous in the execution of operational decisions and communication, and Customer-satisfaction and goal-oriented. Your flexibility should allow you to be comfortable with autonomy within a small flexible team and dispersed business practice environment, in a flat matrix organisation, and open to new proposals and projects.
