Rural Electrification Authority Vacancies: Supervisory Technicians

The Rural Electrification Authority, a State Corporation in the Energy Sector seeks to to employ on contract qualified Supervisory Technicians.

The contract duration will be for a period of 12 months - Renewable

Interested applicants should be able to competently undertake
  • Supervision of hole digging for 1 km of 11/33KV line including stay holes
  • Supervision of 1 KM of 11/33KV line pole erection including stay making
  • Supervision of 1 KM of 11/33KV line stringing
  • Supervision of Substation structure, complete with installation of expulsion fuses, Tx mounting, surge diverters and earthing to achieve desired values
  • Supervision of low voltage 240/430V line Supervision of service cable installation Commissioning of completed power line projects
The successful Supervisory Technicians will be offering these services from the following areas where rural electrification projects are situated

Qualification
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in Power Line maintenance and Construction
  • Electrical Technician certificate from a recognized institution
  • KPLC Training School certification on Power lines construction
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering an added advantage
