Kenya Women Finance Trust (KWFT) Employment Opportunities

WFT supports entrepreneurship development in Kenya through financial and non-financial products and services.

KWFT commits herself in development of women entrepreneurs in the country Kenya Women Finance Trust is a leading Microfinance Institution that has a National presence and works with women of this Country.

The following positions are vacant and we are looking for young, energetic and dynamic persons to take up the positions:

Accounts Assistant
(Ref:AA2/HRD/2010)

The applicant must be a holder of a minimum CPA Part 1, with Credits in English and Mathematics. One year working experience is an added advantage.

They should be Computer literate with proven analytical, planning and good communication skills. They should not be more than 28 years of age.

Assistant Accountant
(Ref:AA/HRD/2010)

The applicant should be a holder of CPA Part II with at least 1 year experience in a busy office.

They must be computer literate in spreadsheets with a minimum grade of C plain at ‘O’ levels.

Credits in Mathematics and English is essential.

The desired candidate should possess good communication, interpersonal, organisation and analytical skills. They should be proficient in preparing reports and presentations and not be more than 28 years of age.

Assistant Internal Auditor
Ref:IA/HRD/2010

The ideal candidate must be a holder of CPA Part II with at least 2 years audit experience in a financial institution. A Degree qualification will be an added advantage.

The desired candidate should have a proven track record of integrity and hard work; and possess good analytical and communication skill and the ability to work with deadlines.

They should be willing to travel frequently within the country.

Business Development Officer
Ref:BDO/HRD/2010

The position requires a young energetic person, who is self driven, can work with minimum supervision and be ready to work with low-income women.

This is a field related job within the organizations National network.

The applicant will be required to hold either a University Degree in Marketing, Education or Business Studies or a Diploma in Co-operative Management or Business Administration.

They should not be more than 28 years of age.

Legal Officer
Ref:LO/HRD/2010

The ideal candidate should be a holder of Bachelors Degree in law (LLB) and a registered advocate of the High Court, with at least 2 years post pupilage experience.

They must be good communicators with excellent planning and organizing skills.

Previous experience in a busy law firm or a financial institution will be an added advantage.

Risk and Compliance Officer
Ref:RC/HRD/2010

The position holder must be a B.Com graduate with at least 2 years experience in risk and compliance in a financial institution. Excellent communication, coordination, assessment and planning skills are essential. CPA (K) holders will have an added advantage.
