STORE-KEEPERS (60 Posts)

JOB REF. - HR: KPLC1/5CB/3-15

Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Stores In-Charges, Store-keepers will undertake the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Control stocks as per approved policies and procedures.
  • Receive and verify deliveries of materials/goods.
  • Issue materials to customers.
  • Monitor the stock levels and initiate re-ordering process.
  • Ensure safe custody of stock in the stores.
  • Minimise/eliminate stock losses by reducing damages and monitoring the expiry dates.
  • Advise management on slow moving or obsolete stocks.
  • Conduct regular stocktaking.
  • Maintain records of stores transaction documents.
  • Update stock levels within the Integrated Logistic Systems (ILS).
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned.
Appointment Specification

Applicants should be in possession of:
  • K.C.S.E level of education with an aggregate of C- (minus) or its equivalent.
  • Diploma in Supplies Management from a recognised institution.
  • IT User skills.
Successful candidates will be appointed on 3 year contract terms of service.
