Kenya College of Communications Technology Job Vacancies

Kenya College of Communications Technology, a leading training institution with 60 years of excellence in training in ICT in the region, invites applications for the following posts:

1. FINANCE MANAGER
The successful candidate will be responsible fortheformulation and implementation of effective financial management policies, procedures, practices, processes and systems. He/She will be responsible for co-ordination and preparation of annual work plans, budgets, tax returns, monthly, quarterly and annual accounts and financial statements.

Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Commerce Degree or equivalent, hold CPA (K) or ACCA, qualifications. Possession of MBA in Finance will be an added advantage. The applicant must have eight years relevant experience, with at least five years at a senior level and should be proficient in the use of computer-based financial systems.

2. HOTEL MANAGER
The successful candidate will be responsible for proper management of the KCCT Hotel, Conference Centre and Health Club. The successful candidate will be required to co-ordinate and provide support to staff in Catering, Housekeeping, Conference Services and Club. He/she will develop and maintain effective policies and regulations aimed at delivering excellent Customer Service.

Applicant must possess a minimum of Diploma in Hotel Management from a recognised training institution with a minimum of seven years experience with at least three years at a senior level and should be computer literate.

3. ESTATES MANAGER
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of the physical infrastructure development plan, annual maintenance plan, estate health and safety policy, and estates environmental management plans. He or she will be responsible for preparing budgets, control costs and monitoring working practices, and overseeing the implementation of infrastructure projects; and overseeing the training and development of estates staff.

Applicants must possess a Degree in Building Economics/Architecture or Land Economics from a recognized University and must be a full member of relevant professional association. He/She should be computer literate and proficient in the use of Computer Aided Design tools. A Masters Degree in a relevant field is an added advantage. The applicant must a have a minimum of eight years working experience in an organization with a large asset portfolio.

4. EXECUTIVE SECRETARY
Reporting to the Director, the successful applicant will be responsible for preparing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations; organizing and attending meetings; standing in for the senior managers, organizing and maintaining diaries; making appointments; organizing and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information; dealing with correspondence; taking dictation and minutes; carrying out specific projects and research; and managing office budget and accounts.

Applicants must possess Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies or be a holder of Higher Diploma in Secretarial Studies. He/ She must be proficient in the use of personal computers and have a minimum of seven years relevant experience.
