Among other things, MTech jointly acquired and executed the Mobile rights for the 2006 FIFA World Cup across Sub-Saharan Africa, providing near – live content for subscribers. The company also holds the mobile rights to the English Premier League till 2010. MTech also provides innovative and exciting solutions in the Digital and Experiential Marketing space, including various specialist communications activities, for major brands across our operations.



Position Description:
Currently, Mtech Communications Company are seeking for qualified candidates to join their Kenya - Nairobi, Nairobi team as Business Development & Brand Strategist. This opportunity is a Permanent position to be based at Nairobi, Kenya - Nairobi, Nairobi.

Responsibilities:
• Executing initiatives and managing day-to-day relationships with existing global technology partners (75%) and also identifying, prioritizing and pursuing new partnerships (25%).
• Developing strong relationships with the executive, sales and marketing team to understand and deliver on key partnership requirements in field.
• You will develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income
• Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close; handover to the account management team
• Generating original ideas and initiatives that capitalize on existing and prospective partner strengths to drive substantive, additional benefit to Blackboard.
• Developing strong relationships with the executive, sales and marketing team to understand and deliver on key partnership requirements in field.

Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate should fulfill the following requirements:

* At least 5 years of working experience in a related field
* Possess a Degree and above from a recognized institution
* Fluency in English will be essential
