Our Client who specializes in edible oil refinery and diversified into soap manufacture and caustic soda wholesale and detergent manufacture seeks to invite applications for a Sales and Marketing Manager DEPARTMENT: Marketing
REPORTS TO: Managing Director
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Overseeing all marketing, advertising and promotional activities
2. Be creative and innovative
3. Key role in product development and pricing
4. Have weekly meetings with the marketing team and follow up with their projects and deadlines
5. Establish marketing strategies for the whole group
6. Implement the marketing plans.
7. Manage the Marketing Department budget and deliver all marketing activity within set budget
8. Work hand in hand with the Managing Director
9. Develop and support strategies for new products working closely with the other relevant managers
10. Build and Support the sales team and all marketing activities
11. Co-ordinate and communicate all marketing activities across the company.
12. Ensure brand consistency
13. Negotiate all rates with suppliers who deal directly with the marketing department
14. Sign of invoices.
15. Assist with any internal events such as Christmas parties, team building events for the whole Group
16. Oversee market research and competitor research regularly as required
17. Any other duties assigned by the Managing Director
KEY SKILLS:
• To be creative and innovative
• To be an excellent people manager, for managing both upwards and downwards
• To be a go-getter
• Energetic
• IT knowledge / experience is an advantage
QUALIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE:
• At least 10 years experience working within a marketing department
• At least experience in a FMCG Company is required.
• A Degree in Marketing or other similar qualification would be helpful
Salary range: 250,000 – 300,000 negotiable.
