Summary
FH Kenya, a Christian relief and development organization is looking for a Consortium Director for the USAID funded Arid and Marginal Lands Recovery Consortium (ARC). The Consortium Secretariat Director will be responsible for the oversight of the entire USAID/OFDA program.
Key responsibilities will be tracking on implementation process and spending, coordinating program teaming for the consortia, rolling up reporting for donor program and financial reports, and advocacy on food crisis response programming in Kenya to public and private partners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Result #1 - Provide coordination, leadership and management support for the consortium
Key Result #2 - Coordinate program learning for the consortia
Key Result #3 - Effectively represent the program to internal and external partners and
manage key relationships
Key Result #4 - Leverage funding complementary to increase the impact of ARC
QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Committed to serving the poor in full agreement with FH's foundation and beliefs as expressed in our Vision, Mission and Values
- Masters Degree in International Development or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in senior program management in a developing country, with experience managing USAID programs.
- Experience providing leadership to donor funded consortiums required.
- Demonstrated ability in: multi-agency coordination, donor reporting, M&E and financial management of budgets.
- Formal training in USAID Rules and Regulations compliance.
- Technical experience in food security programming.
- Demonstrated commitment to development through local empowerment.
- Capacity to work closely with, understand, and support consortium members and their field programs
- Prior experience and management of a US government funding of similar scope (e.g. multi-million dollar, multi-year multi-partner program). Experience with USAID-OFDA preferred.
- Ability to work both independently, and as member of diverse teams. Experience working in a large integrated consortium very helpful.
- Sub-Saharan Africa and/or Kenya experience preferred.
